About Patauda Lake

Patauda Lake is one of the two Ganga backwater lakes that make up the Udhwa Lake Bird Sanctuary. At roughly 2 metres deep, it is the deeper of the pair and offers a quiet habitat for aquatic life and nesting birds. A natural channel links it to Berhale Lake, keeping the wetland alive through the year.
